Hornbeam is a slow-growing wood with a very high density. This allows it to burn long, evenly, and with a steady, beautiful flame. This wood hardly splatters and produces high heat output, making it particularly suitable for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces, and fire pits. The firewood is kiln-dried to a moisture content of <18%, making it immediately ready to burn and burning cleanly without excessive smoke.
